Costly Bad Habits
There are a variety of costly bad habits out there that if you eliminated them you would be able to save so much money, but it will not only help your pocketbook. Being healthy is the most cost efficient way to be able to secure full financial bliss.
A few costly habits are:
1. Smoking. Whether you believe it or not there are concrete facts that do show that smoking kills. It not only affects you but affect others around you that are susceptible to the secondhand smoke. Quitting smoking will reduce your chances of getting cancer, will improve your respiratory system, and help your allergies. Also you will save a ton of money and imagine what you could do with that money you have saved.
2. Alcohol. Drinking alcohol in excess will affect your body greatly and will affect your money flow as well. Drinking causes liver damage, a weak immune system, weight gain, constant chronic dehydration, and psychological problems are all side effects of alcohol.
3. Junk Food. Eating junk food on occasion is fine but when you eat regularly on a daily basis from hamburgers, hot dogs, fried foods, sweets, desserts are all unhealthy. The side effects of junk food are numerous such as weight gain, fatigue, diabetes, heart problems, depression, acne, dental problems, etc.
4. Tanning beds. Tanning and tanning on a tanning bed is very harmful and dangerous. It increases your chances of developing malignant melanoma. If you really do need a tan then use a bottle of fake tanner. This would be more cost effective and health helpful.
5. Drug abuse. It is not a healthy habit and it is definitely not healthy for your bank account. It affects your health greatly. Go to rehab and get over this addiction. It will help you on all levels of your life.
6. Caffeine. I know that millions of people depend on caffeine to get them going but remember that it gives a temporary “high”, meaning that you will need to drink more and more to get that same effect. The caffeine affects your digestion, dental health, sleep, and your stress levels.
There is nothing more frustrating when you want to take a vacation, you have the time available to take off but do not have the funds to do it Imagine eliminating these costly bad habits would be able to help you afford that vacation you are desiring to take.
